Safe, simple, direct: The TIKI app was developed to enable renowned scientists from four Berlin universities to carry out psychological research in everyday life.
With TIKI, questionnaires can be collected and combined with data from external sources such as smartwatches.
This is how we bring psychological research from the laboratory to real life.TIKI stands for "Therapy meets KI" and is a joint research project of the Charité, the FU Berlin, the Humboldt University and the Psychological University Berlin.
The aim is to use artificial intelligence to find out why behavioral therapy is not helpful for some people - and how this can be changed.
The TIKI app was developed in this context in order to be able to collect information that is as objective and relevant as possible to everyday life.
By finding out how psychotherapy works outside of the therapy session, we want to improve the treatment of mental illness in the long term.TIKI was specially developed for psychological research.
The collection of your data is therefore completely transparent and serves purely to gain new scientific knowledge.
We attach great importance to the protection of your personal data: information from questionnaires, the pseudonymised location data and from your smartwatch are always transmitted in encrypted form and stored in pseudonymised form on secure servers in Germany.
